The bible warns us in the last days, the time we are in right now, people will be deceived and distracted from the truth of God. He said love would wax cold and be twisted.
From the first page of the King James bible to the last THE LOVE OF GOD IS EXPRESSED AND DEMONSTARTED. GOD IS LOVE. He does not just have love, HE IS LOVE. God’s desire is to have a family with HIS LOVE DNA inside of them to go throughout the earth expressing HIS LOVE in words and behavior.
God’s love is pure and strong. It does not accept bad behavior like the world thinks love should. God’s love has lasting deep character, integrity, a personality that far exceeds anything we can put words to. LOVE HAS A SPECIFIC ACTION AND BEHAVIOR. It can be seen and recognized by everyone, even unbelievers.
1 Corinthians 13
When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior we are then filled with the HOLY SPIRIT OF GODLY LOVE.
When you have a true encounter with the spirit of Godly Love, you become a different person. That Godly love changes us to be lovely like God. Your life, words, behavior and your purpose and intentions will express Almighty God on the inside of you.
Matthew 7:15-20
The more mature we become as Christians filled with the love of God the more like Jesus we become. The whole purpose of Jesus was to express and demonstrate the ultimate level of God’s love to mankind. You can filter every decision and choice you make through the lense of God’s love to know if you are being led by the spirit of God or not. All of your choices and decisions for yourself, your family and those you come in contact with daily should leave a remnant of that love and a footprint of God’s love where ever you go and whomever you encounter..
Godly love is powerful and transforming. It stops us and convicts us from being opposite of God’s love. Your desires and ambitions change. Your passions in life change. your personality and character changes, once you are possessed and filled with Godly Love.
Jesus came into this world to pave the way for mankind to have a personal, father/child, relationship with Almighty God. God originally created man, Adam and Eve, to have this relationship. When Adam and Eve rebelled against God, they lost that relationship for themselves and for mankind. BUT Jesus Christ came to reinstate it. Jesus did all the hard work. He fullfilled all the impossible requirements that were needed to reestablish a way for all of mankind to have an opportunity to receive God as their Father, Jesus is that open door into this world for Almighty God to use to enter back into our lives and possess us with His amazing Holy Spirit of Godly Love.
When Jesus was here in the flesh He showed us HOW GODLY LOVE lives and interacts with the world and with the people we encounter on a daily basis.
- Jesus loved the easiest people to hate.
- Jesus showed respect to the disrespected
- Jesus blessed those who could not offer Him anything in return
- Jesus showed mercy, grace and deliverance to the humble and lowly.
God will not force anyone to accept Him or His love. That is a choice each one of us make on our own. We either accept Jesus as Savior or we deny Him. But when we do accept Jesus, the Spirit of Godly love forgives our sins, enters into our bodies and changes our spirit and soul and joins us to Almighty God. We become possessed by the spirit of God and the spirit of Satan that you were born with is evicted. Our lives are then sealed in God’s Spirit forever.
This decision to accept Jesus as Savior and invite the Spirit of Godly love into our lives, is something that is the responsibility of every person.
That Spirit of love is proof that God is with us and it gives us a kindred spirit with other believers and children of God.
John 13:35
Without that supernatural spirit of Godly love in your life to direct you and help you, you will be controlled by the spirit of death and darkness. You will be caught up in all the deception, chaos and darkness that this world is living with right now. YOU MUST HAVE THE Holy Spirit OF GODLY LOVE IN YOUR LIFE, if you are going to make it in this world and spend eternity in Heaven.
The Holy Spirit of Godly Love will keep you grounded in God’s love and help you discipline yourself not to be caught up in the things of the world. God said if we follow the spirit of Godly love we will not fullfill the lust of the flesh or be caught in the trap of the world.
The lust of the world, or lust of the flesh, is strong in these last days.

America is very obsessed with money, wealth, things, glamour, being beautiful, and SEX. It is a daily discipline that every person must exercise to resist the cravings and drive of the flesh and world and follow the spiritual desires that God requires. But the bible says its not a demand that we are unable to accomplish. God says when we strive for and follow the spirit of God, the fleshly desires will be defeated.

It is easy to be wrapped up in our daily lives and push God to the bottom of our list everyday. We have to intentionally arrange our schedule to include God in our lives daily otherwise life pressures will dominate, deceive and distract.
God and His love is the only thing that is powerful enough to overcome all the trouble and chaos of this present world. God’s love is our safe place in this dark and dangerous world.
