What is the rapture? The rapture is a loving gracious act of God to rescue and protect His children from the apocalypse and tribulation that will be happening here on Earth after we are gone. The rapture is a supernatural rescue from God that transports us from Earth to Paradise in Heaven. Jesus Christ is the ONLY ONE who has the ability to take us there. The rapture is the next prophetic event that God has scheduled.
When I was young and I would hear about the rapture and the end of the world, it used to really scare me. Not because I thought I was going to Hell. I was raised in church and have been a Christian as far back as I can remember. But as a young believer, I was afraid God was going to let HIS CHILDREN suffer like the rest of the world, and that scared me. Even today, I hear many pastors and watchmen telling people that God’s children will experience the tribulation and will suffer. NONE OF THAT IS TRUE!
When I matured spiritually and had a deeper relationship with the love of God, I learned the rapture is a wonderful saving gift of deliverance and rescue from God to HIS CHRISTIAN CHILDREN. If you belong to the family of God, the rapture is nothing to be scared about. Its going to be an amazing trip to the throne of Almighty God in the company of ALL YOUR LOVED ONES now and the ones who has passed away before us. The rapture will be the first day of a beautiful 7 year family reunion in Heaven with God and our loved ones, like you have never seen before.
The word rapture is not found in the bible. It is a latin word from the Greek verb, harpazo, meaning “caught up” or “snatched away”.
The rapture of the church is the sudden, supernatural removal of all children of God from Earth, transporting us to Heaven. We are not dying at the rapture. Our spirit and flesh bodies will be suddenly and supernaturally transported from Earth to Heaven. The rapture is a gracious loving act of Almighty God designed and planned by God to keep His children safe and sound while all Hell and destruction is going on here on Earth during the Tribulation. The rapture is YOUR RESCUE from the death and destruction of the apocalypse and tribulation that is planned for the ungodly.
Many people, even well intentioned Christians have the rapture verses confused with the verses about the second coming of Jesus. The second coming and the rapture are two completely different events that happen at two completely different times. The rapture is described very clearly in Thessalonians.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Amplified Bible, “Now we do not want you to be uninformed, believers, about those who are asleep [in death], so that you will not grieve [for them] as the others do who have no hope [beyond this present life]. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again [as in fact He did], even so God [in this same way—by raising them from the dead] will bring with Him those [believers] who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For we say this to you by the Lord’s [own] word, that we who are still alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede [into His presence] those [believers] who have fallen asleep [in death]. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the [blast of the] trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain [on the earth] will simultaneously be caught up (raptured) together with them [the resurrected ones] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord! Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words [concerning our reunion with believers who have died].
There has been several people who have been raptured throughout the Bible. However, NEVER before has millions of people been raptured from this world, all at the same time. That is what is going to happen in the very near future. Millions of born again, Holy Spirit filled, children of God are going to be called up to Heaven from all over the world and “raptured’ into the very presence of Almighty God. We are not going to die. We will feel no pain. We will just be quickly “caught up” and transported to Heaven to be with Jesus. What a glorious day that will be!! Come Lord Jesus!
John 14:2-3 Living Bible, “There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with me where I am. If this weren’t so, I would tell you plainly.”
WHEN IS THE RAPTURE GOING TO HAPPEN? The bible says no man knows the day or the hour (……..). But it doesn’t say we will not know the year or the season. There are well known bible scholars who have concluded that God revealed the “season” of the rapture since the beginning of time. That revelation has been in the bible all along and we are just beginning to get an understanding of the timeline. Many believe that rapture will happen some year around the Jewish celebration of the FEAST OF TRUMPETS. That is also the time of the Jewish New Year called ROSH HASHANA, which happens around the end of September on the Gregorian calendar.
God showed me a few global and national things that are going to happen just prior to the rapture that all men, saved or lost, can actually see with their natural eyes.
There will be an outpouring of the Spirit of God just prior to the rapture that will express extreme miracles that reflect the days of Jesus Christ. I am not sure how long this outpouring and revival lasts but it will not be that long because someone is going to hack the electrical grid here in the United States and shut us down. That almost brings the revival to a stop. Not because God needs electricity to do miracles. It will be because people will stop gathering and calling on the power of God.
The timeline God did give me was in association with the blackout/ lockdown that occurs when the electrical grid is hacked. America will experience this blackout a little less than a year, then the rapture happens.
Many prophets are saying the assassination of Charlie Kirk has started a national revival. If churches will join in, it can easily spread and escalate into the revival God revealed to me in the prophetic dream. But actually, I believe the US will be involved in a war or military conflict in the Middle East first and after that the revival.
The church is you and I. Get out of your comfort zone and get into your community praying for the sick and tell people how they can be saved and ready for the rapture. Use whatever platform you have to reach people and tell them how to receive JESUS AS SAVIOR.
